How it Works
1. Setup
We assess your existing procedures, identify areas for improvement, and enhance playbooks. We’ll integrate with your IT infrastructure if required. Alternatively, you can use our system for effortless contract submissions through Teams or Slack.
2. Delivery
You provide us with your contracts, we deliver, to a 1-3 day service level agreement. You can choose our complete contract management service which includes storage and post-execution on either your Contract Lifecycle Management system or ours.
3. Data, Reporting & Continuous Optimisation
Get detailed feedback on your contract operations. Spot areas for enhancement to establish a smooth, scalable contract process.
Do you have an SLA?
Yes, our SLA is 1-3 days although in 2022 on average we turned contracts around in 9 working hours from receipt.
What kind of contracts can you review?
We are able to review all commercial agreements. We are not able to provide regulatory advice however so if there’s anything that’s very specialist that we can’t cover, we’ll let you know. We’ve also teamed up with Linklaters so we can always call on them for any support we can’t provide. This would not be covered within your subscription and may be subject to an additional fee.
Are you good at data protection?
We’re great at it. All our lawyers are CIPP-E qualified and we have very strong data protection expertise. After all, we delivered oneDPA!
Can you review contracts that are subject to laws that are not England and Wales?
Much like in-house lawyers, we are comfortable reviewing contracts that are subject to any jurisdiction, of course from the perspective of UK qualified or training lawyers. We take a pragmatic view and will usually review agreements against playbooks that were pre-agreed with you so we’ll be comfortable to take a view. Of course, if there’s anything we aren’t sure about, we’ll make that clear and where appropriate, we’ll recommend you seek outside counsel.
What’s a Quarterly Optimisation Recommendations Report?
We believe that the key to an optimised legal function is continuous monitoring and optimisation. To this end, we’ll produce a Quarterly Optimisation Recommendations Report to provide you with your findings and observations on what might be causing friction in your process. That could be an imbalanced position in your playbook, a process problem or a less than optimal contract template that is creating negotiation delays. Our reports are easy to digest and actionable.
What happens if I need more support in a month?
That’s no problem. We’ll either build that into your subscription from the outset or will simply charge an overage fee you for the relevant month. We'll obviously provide you with weekly WIP updates so you know when you're about to exceed your monthly allowance and together we'll agree a way forward.
Does any unused contract allocation rollover if I haven’t used it up?
No, contracts don’t rollover. However, we work closely with you to tailor your packages so that it’s right for you and keep that continuously under review.
What does ‘working on your systems’ mean?
It means we’ll meet you where you are. We’ll join your Slack or Teams, Google Drive or Sharepoint, whatever CLM or legal front door you have - the works. We’ll truly integrate into your systems and meet you where you (and your business) are.
